My plate cracked in the kiln that got a little over fired over break. Monday I worked with Serena, we started her firm slab. It was my first time working with her and we had a lot of fun! I tried to throw another plate unsuccessfully on Tuesday. On wednesday I glazed my pitcher and put it on the glaze shelf. On Thursday I once again managed to not throw a successful plate. I was gone on Friday at my WWU Vocal audition!

Lots of exciting things on this fine, fine week three! I threw a pitcher and attached a handle for my tall project. That is in the bisque kiln right now, I forgot to snag a picture of it before it went in, but I am really happy with the way it is looking! I also threw this lovely little plate (sorry for the bad photo quality). It's a little small, yes, but I'm really happy with it for my first plate! The week after break I'll be glazing both of these projects! c:

Finished up my three donation bowls! Kept the glazes simple and played with shape some, overall I'm pretty satisfied! Grading paragraph to come!

This is my post for last week! Sorry it's late, but I will post twice this week to make up for it! I through three bowls for donation which are currently in the bisque kiln. They should come out tomorrow, so I will glaze them so that they can be on their merry little way to help feed those in need! I'll try and attach a picture tomorrow when they come out of the kiln.

Day one: let's do this! (:
