| Good week! My plate came out of the kiln, my set of three candle holders got glazed and fired, I threw a plate with vashon red and carved/bisqued some of the things I had been throwing with red. Right now the stuff I'm throwing with red is just mostly staying basic, I only carved the mug. I just wanna kinda let the red be red for now, I'm just excited to be working with a new clay! I'm going to think up some new designs and carve more stuff next week hopefully. Got some red in the bisque, some drying, and some waiting to go into the glaze. Lots of things! Yay! |

 Another great week! Started throwing with red this week- made a bowl and a cup with that, it was cool working with another type of clay! I also carved designs into the three bowls that I made last week, and those are drying. Put my candle holders in the bisque, getting ready for another successful week!
Successful week this week! Threw a plate that I really like, kept working on my set of three (which are almost ready to be bisqued, I just have to finish sanding off the edges), carved a design into my plate and then I threw three bowls after school today, which I will foot on monday!
My plate came out of the bisque... it's pretty bad. I started my set of three-- I'm making tea light candle holders! Helped the newbs a lot with their cylinders. Hooray for spreading the ceramics!
My plate cracked in the kiln that got a little over fired over break. Monday I worked with Serena, we started her firm slab. It was my first time working with her and we had a lot of fun! I tried to throw another plate unsuccessfully on Tuesday. On wednesday I glazed my pitcher and put it on the glaze shelf. On Thursday I once again managed to not throw a successful plate. I was gone on Friday at my WWU Vocal audition!
